Northern Sydney TAFE Libraries:Library services during COVID-19

Library spaces are open!

Rea

For the health and safety of everyone during the COVID-19 restrictions, library access is for current students and staff only. Numbers of visitors are restricted, masks are required  and social distancing measures are in place. The 4sqm rule applies to all TAFE NSW Libraries.

Please note that:

  • All students and staff are required to register their visit on the campus using the QR check-in form.
  • Masks are mandatory up o and including Wednesday June 30 2021
  • the Library is not open to members of the public.
  • Some services may be reduced or not available.
  • Bookings for computers are essential.
  • The library cannot provide headphones due to hygiene requirements. If you need to listen whilst on the computers, including joining a connected classroom, you must provide your own headphones to help reduce noise for other users.

Access to computers on campus

Computers available

Whilst the number of computers available in libraries has been reduced due to space capacity and social distancing measures, most campuses are providing access to extra computer facilities outside of the library, including some evening hours.

  • Call ahead to your local library for information on booking processes and the location and availability of computers both in the library and on campus.
  • Bring your own headsets. Libraries are unable to lend headsets during this time.
  • Note that most computers both in the library and on campus will not have camera access at this time.

Help with technology

Whilst library staff are happy to assist where they can during library opening hours, please note that social distancing measures may mean they are not able to provide the level of help you require. Further help:
